There are a lot of really useful web tools that are available for teachers. I really liked iRubric, the PBL checklist site, and the crossword puzzle generator. I can see myself using them for my own classes to create projects. My favorite thing about these sites is that they are free. I did not like the quiz generator, because it is too easy for students to find the quiz on the web. There are other quiz sites that are free and secure. When I find a list of them i will let you know.
Good luck and Good night.

1. How does an understanding of computer terminology assist a student with successful operation of current computer hardware components (Chapt. 1)?
An understanding of computer terminology can help a student gain a basic understanding of how a computer operates. An understanding of computer operations can help the student to fix minor problems or to gain the appropriate assistance in fixing any problems the computer may have.
8. Describe a learning situation that illustrates the difference between technology that is integrated into a lesson and technology that is tacked onto a lesson (Chapt. 5).
Technology should be fully integrated into the content area of the lesson. Successful integration adds to the students’ understanding of the subject being taught. Technology that is tacked onto a lesson does not add to the learning experience. It may even confuse students.
